The Gaya Rescue Project working from its dedicated centre near Gaya railway station provides a night shelter , education and support and counselling 24 hours a day to homeless  and street children, and those in conflict with the law. It also reunites lost children with thier families and has a full time child protection and legal services officer to help provide a protective and safe environment for these vulnerable children and young people. 

People First works closely with local communities providing educaional opportunties for their children that would otherwise not be available to them . The Trust runs eight schools educating over 1000 children every day . From kindergartens to tenth Class we hope to enable every child to fulfill thier potential.

The Health project works in 12 villages working with  mainly women and young mothers in the field of preventative health care. Surveys have shown this project is achieving a great improvement in the health of  local children and young mothers paticulary. The project is collabrating technically with UNICEF Patna in helping to develop the Intergrated Management of Neo Natal and Childhood illnesses (IMNCHI) model of child health across the district. Project staff are UNICEF approved state level trainers.

The Trust runs three womens sewing centres which provide training in tailoring skills. once a certain proficiency  is reached the women can apply for an interest free loan and have thier own machine at home providing an important source of independent income. The centres also provide a rare opportunity for village women to meet together in a supportive environnment. 

The Trust runs two full time vocational training courses from its Gyan Vikas Centre in Bodhgaya,  in Basic Computer application and Driving.These course are government approved and offer nationally recognised certification.
