THANK FOR YOUR HELP
Recently two little girls were found abandoned and brought to Rescue Junction. Extensive efforts are on to find their families or place them for adoption.
Nileen has been placed by the child welfare court in Patna at Rescue Junction whilst arrangements are made for her adoption.
Her adoption will be by an Indian family. Baby Nileen has now been joined by by Baby ASHA (photograph below) which means hope. All efforts are on to find her family.
Gaya Rescue Project
Due to recent donations received our unique and special centre for homeless, missing, and street and railway children will remain open at least until the end of this year.
This project , the Gaya Rescue Project through its dedicated centre, Rescue Junction with its caring and trained counsellors has become a beacon project in the whole district. It is the only centre of its kind in the whole of South Bihar, an area with a population of more than 35 million people.
You can read many updates about the projects work on Global Giving, (search Rescue Junction).
ASHA Silicon Valley have come through with a large donation, and on behalf of all of us at People First, especially the children our heartfelt thanks and appreciation go to them and every other organisation and person whom together have ensured this important and desperately needed centre for the most vunerable of children remains open.
